Dr Hennah Steven

Dr Hennah Steven (PhD development studies) hails from the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea, lives in New Zealand and works at the University of Waikato. She is an educator, geographer and development studies scholar. Her research and expertise includes customary land and women’s roles in economic development. More about her research can be found at: https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6000-0115. Dr Hennah Steven led the Papua New Guinea fieldwork, and conducted the Nagamito case study for the Rising Stories project.
