Tomu Paneta Hauma

Tuvalu Researcher

Tomu Paneta Hauma is from Nanumaga Island, Tuvalu, living in Funafuti, Tuvalu. He has a strong background in the NGO sector and working on projects focusing on a range of climate and social development issues. As a consultant, Tomu has worked on technical reports for the Tuvalu Department of Climate Change (consulting on the Tuvalu Integrated Vulnerable Assessment Reports project), assisted in the development of the Tuvalu sustainable tourism policy, and has worked on water and energy projects. From 2014 to 2018, he served as the Executive Director of the Tuvalu Association of Non-Government Organisations. Currently. Tomu Hauma completed the Tuvalu case study for the Rising Stories study.
