Torote Uriam Kauongo

Kiribati Researcher

Torote Kauongo is I-Kiribati. He has been a Project Manager in the Climate Resiliant Islands Program (2019-2021) for KiriCAN and Live and Learn. He has a background as a secondary teacher and holds a postgraduate science qualification. He has had previous research experience in an ecosystems research project and a project examining the impact of covid-19 on fisheries in Kiribati. Torote conducted fieldwork and case studies in Kiribati for the Rising Stories project.
