Togia Tulano Toloa

Tokelau Researcher

Togia Tulano TOLOA is from Atafu, Tokelau. He has experience in the Lapita Voyage research as a traditional navigator, and has undertaken translation work for Huri Translations for the Tokelau language. In previous roles, he worked in Tokelau government’s planning and monitoring unit and volunteered at the UNESCO Pacific Office. Togia is a council member in his village and delegate in the Tokelau parliament. Togia Tulano Toloa undertook the Tokelau case study, along with Loha Isaako-Toloa, for the Rising Stories project.
